Classy champs turn on the style

St George’s showed exactly why they’re champions on Saturday.

 

They thrashed third placed Rushen United 7-0 at Glencrutchery Road to stay top of the Canada Life Premier League.

 

Joey Morling led the way with a hat-trick.

 

Peel remain on their heels after seeing off lowly Ramsey 8-2 to stay level at the summit on points.

 

Laxey fought back from 2-0 down to draw at Corinthians, Old Boys put six past Marown, St Mary’s ended an awful run with a 6-1 home success over Ayre, while St John’s won 4-2 at battling Ramsey Youth Centre.
