Impressive time in Peel to Douglas race

Kevin Loundes was the winner of the Isle of Man Bank Peel to Douglas trail race.

He produced an impressive time of 57 minutes 29 seconds to emerge triumphant.

That was just under three minutes ahead of Jamie Newton, a week after his success in the Syd Quirk Half-Marathon.

Ben Corkill finished third with Karen Shimmin the leading woman in 15th place overall.
