Fire crews ask for care at bonfire night displays

Alert services about private events

Islanders hosting private firework displays are being asked to let the emergency services know in advance.

Public events are taking place in Ramsey, Port Erin, Douglas and Kirk Michael on Thursday and Friday (Nov 5 and 6) to mark Bonfire Night.

Fire crews are concerned safety rules may be relaxed at private displays.

Roger Brown from the Fire Safety Department has warned people to take care:
