Summer residents now classed as endangered

Puffin patrol!

The chief operating officer of Manx Bird Life has asked the public to help it keep track of puffins.

Both puffins and turtle doves have recently been added to the International Union for Conservation of Nature's 'red list'.

It means they're now among the most endangered species in the world.

Puffins reside here in the summer months, whilst turtle doves have a flight passage over the Island.

Dora Querido says there's not a lot people can do to help conserve the birds:
