Social services referrals under the microscope

Steve Rodan to raise matterin Tynwald

Child protection matters will be raised in Tynwald next week.

Garff MHK Steve Rodan has questions about a significant drop in the number of referrals to social services and recommendations from the Commission of Inquiry Into the Care of Young People.

His query about referrals is directed at Health and Social Care Minister Howard Quayle.

Mr Rodan says he wants to find out where the referrals have been coming from, and why they have dropped so much, from more than 1,300:
