From Paris with solidarity

Islander in Paris describes experience

As France begins its third day of mourning, a message of solidarity is emanating from Paris, according to a Manx girl living there.

Elsa Wilkes is from Agneash and was in the city when a terrorist attack shocked the world on Friday night.

Elsa was out eating at a restaurant when it happened - she says despite the devastation - which has so far claimed 132 lives - the people of Paris have remained strong:

In a local show of solidarity with the victims and survivors, French flags have been placed at locations around central Douglas.

The Tower of Refuge was also lit up in the colours of the Tricolour last night (Sunday).
