Quirk under fire over Manx Gas

Houghton dig about TT hospitality

Chairman of the Office of Fair Trading David Quirk found himself under fire in Tynwald today over Manx Gas.

North Douglas MHK John Houghton claimed he'd compromised his position in the OFT by accepting hospitality from Manx Gas at the T.T.

Mr Quirk was facing questions about the voluntary deal between the company and the OFT, Treasury, and the Department of Economic Development.

But he responded angrily when Mr Houghton made his claims:
