White ribbon campaign to tackle domestic abuse

Police support initiative

The police are committed to tackling the issue of domestic violence.

That's the message forming part of an international campaign, to which the Isle of Man Constabulary has pledged its support.

The White Ribbon Campaign encourages men worldwide to say no to all forms of abuse.

It will culminate with an awareness day next Wednesday 25th November.

Over 250 cases of domestic violence have been reported to the Manx police this year alone.

Inspector Paul Bryan had this message of support for all victims:
