Island shops recall dangerous items

Dangerous defects in products

A number of products are being recalled across the Island after dangerous defects were discovered.

The Office of Fair Trading is asking anyone with the following items, to return them to the shop.

Fisher Price car seats sold by Argos - the safety restraints are not compliant with proper tests and could be dangerous for children using them.

A Wilko fibre tip pen, sold at Shoprite living stores and Shoprite Douglas, with a defect in the lids.

And Heart-shaped tea light holders from Next, which could cause the flame to flare up.

People are urged to return these items immediately.

Fisher Price Group 123 car seat. Catalogue number 390/9720

Wilko fibre tip pens with item codes 0414902, 0417499, 0316425 and 0414900

Heart-shaped tea light holders with item code 6663981 (set of three).
