Rush hour collision causes congestion

Collision closes road for 90 minutes

The Quarterbridge junction in Douglas was closed for around an hour and a half following a rush hour collision this evening (Monday).

It happened shortly before 5pm.

Police were at the scene and motorists had to use an alternative route.

Vehicles were turned off at Saddle Road, Braddan Bridge and Pulrose Bridge.

There was heavy congestion for much of the time.

The road re-opened shortly after 6.30pm.
