Island landmarks light up red for World AIDS Day

Groups aims to raise awareness on Island

Major Island landmarks are turning red today (Tuesday, Dec 1), in support of World AIDS Day.

Government buildings, the Tower of Refuge, Ramsey swing bridge and Ramsey Court House, are just some of the buildings lighting up red for the cause.

It's been organised by the Isle of Man HIV support group, which aims to raise awareness and shake the stigma attached to AIDS and HIV.

Tony Watterson from the group says understanding has improved over the years but there's still a way to go:
