Concerns raised as company starts survey work

Plans for a wind farm off the Island's east coast will cause major disruptions to ferry and freight services, according to a former Merchant Navy captain.

Stuart McKenzie has raised his concerns after Dong Energy signed a lease agreement with the Manx government to survey the seabed.

It would be six miles east from the Island's coast, inside our territorial waters.

Captain McKenzie says he believes the Manx government will be aware of the issues raised:
