Appeal after generator stolen

Police in Douglas are investigating the theft of a Pramac P6000S Generator from the area of Spring Valley Industrial Estate, the theft occurred on Sunday 29th of November 2015 at about 20:50hrs. The item is described as Lime green in colour and would require two people to lift.

This theft has left a local catering business unable to operate and the generator is worth in the region of ?3000.

Officers are asking if anyone is offered a generator for sale locally or has any knowledge of this theft to contact them on 631212 or alternatively Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800555111

Police once again remind the public to remain vigilant and ensure that any high value items that need to be left outside are secured. It is yet again that time of year when the public need to be mindful to reduce the chances of thefts occurring.
