The emergency services have published this photograph following a car crash at Windy Corner on the mountain road yesterday (Tuesday).

No other vehicles were involved and the driver, who was not carrying any passengers, was able to get himself out of the car. He was treated on the scene by paramedics for minor injuries.

The accident occurred just after 9am.

Police have been warning motorists to take care in the wintry conditions after heavy rainfall left standing water on many roads.
