Manx National Heritage, the organisation responsible for the protection and promotion of the Isle of Man’s heritage and culture, is showcasing new Christmas gift ideas at the Manx Museum Gallery Shop and House of Manannan as well as online that will complement the organisations extensive range of Manx themed goods and artisan products.

Manx National Heritage’s range includes beautifully hand-crafted Manx gifts, Christmas decorations and cards, sweets and chocolates inspired by the colour and culture of the Isle of Man as well as an extensive collection of books, prints and DVD’s on local history, culture and the Island’s heritage.

Many of the products on sale are created and produced by Isle of Man based companies including Glonney Design’s glass jewellery range which includes pendants, cufflinks, rings and earrings using the blue and earthly brown hues of Manx tartan.

Renowned Manx potter Kathryn Mitchell has a range of Isle of Man themed Fuchsia and Loaghton ceramics as well as a special ‘Nollick Ghennal’ edition including wine cups, a mini pourer and a ramekin dish.

Other products in the gift range include an extensive collection of Knox inspired pewter gifts including jewellery, clocks, vases and mirrors as well as, exclusive to Manx National Heritage, an Archibald Knox ‘The Deers Cry’ 2016 Calendar with extracts from St Patrick’s Hymn, a prayer of protection, illuminated by designs inspired by Celtic and Norse art.
