Isle of Man Creamery launches limited edition Vintage Cheddar truckle

by isleofman.com 25th November 2015
The Isle of Man Creamery is pleased to announce the launch of its limited edition Vintage Cheddar waxed truckles, just in time for the festive season.

Vintage Cheddar is one of the Creamery’s most popular products with numerous awards under its belt, most recently a silver medal at the British Cheese Awards and a Highly Commendable Certificate at the International Cheese Show. It is produced and matured on-island for around 15 months to develop a greater complexity and depth of flavour and holds a subtly sweet and nutty taste which lingers in the mouth for lasting enjoyment.

The wax covered truckles will be available in 100g and 200g sizes and will make the perfect addition to your festive cheeseboard or a gift for the cheese lovers in your life.

Managing Director Findlay Macleod said: ‘We are delighted to be able to bring the Vintage Cheddar truckles to our customers in time for the Christmas and New Year period. I hope that our Vintage Cheddar fans will appreciate the attractive black wax packaging and taste which many have come to know and love.’

In celebration of the launch, giant truckles will be appearing around the Island including Ballamooar Farm on the Ballamodha Straight, Ballakillangan Farm (home of Silly Moos) and the roundabout at Shoprite Little Switzerland.

The Vintage Cheddar truckles are only available for a limited period over the festive period, so make sure you don’t miss out. They can be found at local Shoprite, Spar and independent stores.
