Pokerstars named 'Poker operator of the year'

PokerStars was named ‘Poker Operator of the Year’ at the eGaming Review awards last night. It is the second consecutive year this award has been won by PokerStars, an Amaya Inc. (Nasdaq: AYA; TSX: AYA) brand.

The eGaming Review awards were held last night at the Honourable Artillery Company gardens in London. It is among the most prestigious events in the egaming industry, and the awards ceremony attracts more than 700 industry professionals from the world's leading online gaming firms, who gather to celebrate operational excellence and commercial success in the sector.

“Winning the ‘Poker Operator of the Year’ award is a strong endorsement of our poker offering and a testament to the engaged and passionate PokerStars employees who dedicate themselves to delivering a high-quality, safe, and secure online poker experience,” said Eric Hollreiser, Vice President of Corporate Communications for Amaya.  “We’re working hard to grow and build poker to ensure that we earn this award every year.”
