Advent Candle-lit procession

by isleofman.com 24th November 2015
On Sunday 29th November at 3.30pm in St German’s Cathedral, the boy and girl choristers will sing a candle-lit procession through the darkness of the Cathedral and will lead the ancient service of compline.

The event marks the beginning of the churches’ new year and is a very special experience. It will also feature new music composed for the occasion by Cathedral Organ scholar Jack Oades.

Why not come and experience a moment of peace in a busy world, come and reflect in this Holy place by candle light. A perfect start to the festive season.

The Bishop will lead the compline service and as usual it will be followed by Hot Chocolate and cream in the servery.
