The series of lunchtime speakers organised by the Island branch of the Society of Satellite Professionals International continues next month with a talk about Europe’s new highly-anticipated launch vehicle the Ariane VI, being built by Airbus and Safran Launchers.
Silvio Sandrone, Vice-President Strategic Partnership with Airbus Safran Launchers, will address Isle of Man members of the SSPI at The Embassy Room, The British, North Quay, Douglas on Monday, December 7th. The event starts at 1.00pm and is open to the public.
The talk will see Mr Sandrone outline plans for developing the new Ariane VI launch vehicle, for which he is leading the effort to replace the Ariane V.
Mr Sandrone was previously Vice-President New Launcher Programmes at Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands BV, and also served with both Arianespace and EUMETSAT.
