Browne Craine & Co (“Browne Craine”) is pleased to announce that Alex Catlow and Kylie Rollins have recently passed their final Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) exams.
“I’m thrilled for both Alex and Kylie,” said Lynsey Smith, training director at Browne Craine. “Both of them have worked really hard to achieve their results. Training to become an accountant requires a lot of determination and focus; it isn’t an easy qualification to achieve. I’m very proud of them, well done.”
Both Alex and Kylie passed the 11 compulsory examinations to gain the qualification and become affiliates of the ACCA.
Alex first joined the firm in June 2009 and qualified as an accounts technician in 2012. Her role now sees her primarily working on company accounts and tax.
“I’m over the moon,” said Alex. “I’ve finally completed my exams after studying for four years - it doesn’t seem real! I’d like to thank Browne Craine for supporting me throughout my studies.”
Kylie joined Browne Craine in September 2015 as part of the accounts management team, overseeing the preparation of accounts for a wide range of Browne Craine’s clients. Kylie studied to be an accounts technician in March 2011 and gained the qualification in August 2012. She then went onto to study the ACCA qualification.
“I’m so pleased I’ve passed all of my exams,” said Kylie. “I was nervous before I received my results; fortunately it was good news when my results were sent through to me. I’m looking forward to my future with Browne Craine and completing my practical training to become a fully qualified accountant.”
“Our employees are our greatest asset,” continued Lynsey. “We encourage all our employees to develop their skills through regular training and we do everything we can to help them succeed in their career.”
