Following an external review carried out by an Investor In People (“IIP”) assessor from the UK, Moore Stephens Isle of Man (“MSIOM”) has retained its prestigious IIP accreditation. The reviews are carried out every three years, with MSIOM being first accredited in December 2006.
“Coming just days after our successful ISO 9001 annual surveillance audit, we are very proud indeed," said Partner Clive Dixon. "While ISO tells the world how we treat our clients, our continuing IIP accreditation demonstrates how we treat our most valuable asset, our team. Investors in People is the global standard for people management.”
Around the world, 14,000 organisations hold IIP accreditations. All must conform to strict international standards of leadership, support and management that are based on 25 years of practice.
“Earning the IIP accreditation is just the beginning,” observed Celeste Green, the firm’s HR executive who leads both MSIOM’s ISO 9001 and IIP projects. “To keep it means you must constantly maintain the required standards and consistently demonstrate to our staff how valued they are in the organisation. We believe that if our staff feel happy and appreciated, it will naturally enhance our client servicing standards.”
The IIP standard is maintained by an ongoing a rigorous regimen.
“The best unique selling point for any business, and certainly the one most people will remember you by, is the individuals who make up your team,” continued Clive. “Your business is only as good as your people and their enthusiasm and professionalism – I am very proud of ours.”
