From temporary tattoos to home-baked cakes, there will be something for everyone at the Family Library fun day on Saturday. The action starts at 10.30am and runs on all the way through until 4pm.
There will be fun tattoos, face-painting from about midday, a book sale, colouring activities, a game stall, scavenger hunt and much more.
Running alongside the fun day will be a cake sale. The library is looking for talented bakers to donate cakes. You can bring in your baking and buy something to take home.
The event is being held to raise funds for Family Library.
Librarian-in-charge Mary Cousins said: ‘There will be something for everyone at the fun day.
‘It is also a great chance for people who have never visited the library before to look around, as well as for everyone to take a look at all the items we have on offer in our silent auction.’
The Family Library is next to the children’s playground in Westmoreland Road, Douglas.
