New MHK sworn in

by isleofman.com 17th November 2015

Jon Joughin was sworn in as MHK for Douglas East in a special sitting this morning of the House of Keys.

He was welcomed to the House by deputy Speaker Leonard Singer, who presided over the swearing in ceremony.

Mr Joughin will serve for less than a year before the General Election next September. The by-election was called when Brenda Cannell retired for personal reasons after almost 20 years as a Douglas East MHK.
