ABRAcadabra returns to Peel

by isleofman.com 12th November 2015
The Centenary Centre in Peel is the venue for fun and amazement on 27th November, when the Young Magicians of Mann return to stage 'ABRAcadabra.'

This year they will be performing with magicians Paul Martin, Lexi Watterson and Juan Corrin. Juan says that he's really looking forward to supporting the young magicians and explained: 'I was a member of the magic club before going to University, and loved taking part in the shows. They were usually sold out, which proved how much everyone looked forward to this annual opportunity to see live magic on stage.' Lexi, a lawyer in Douglas, agreed, adding 'I was also a member, and loved it so much that I'm now a member of The Magic Circle, which has a wonderful headquarters in London. There's been lots of magic on T.V. in recent years, but nothing can beat seeing magic and illusions close-up on stage. Even Dynamo and Jamie Raven are now touring their shows. They won't be visiting the island unfortunately, but at least we can stage an evening of magic and fun suitable for all the family in the run-up to Christmas.'

The young magicians taking part are Juan Moore, Nathan Hill, Andrew Martin, Giles Beaumont, Max Workman, Harry Roe, Ffynlo Parnell and Jack McLean. Sixteen year old Andrew, a student at King William's College, will be performing his popular act with 'Scruffy,' the islands most magical dog! Ffynlo hopes to be supported by Daisy, the clubs' resident pantomime cow, in his first outing on the Centenary Centre stage. All the acts promise to be entertaining and amusing, and those who have seen previous shows will be aware that a great family night out is guaranteed.

Tickets are on sale online at http://www.etickets.im/cc, Celtic Gold in Peel, Thompson Travel in Port Erin, Peter Norris Music in Douglas and Shakti Man in Ramsey. Adult tickets cost ?8, and only ?4 for under 14s.
