A group of visiting Royal British Legion (RBL) Riders Branch members took the opportunity of a tour around the Island to meet up with Ramsey branch members at Ramsey town hall where they were greeted by Ramsey Town Commissioners’ chairman Richard Radcliffe and Royal British Legion Isle of Man County chairman Ray Ferguson.
The Riders Branch, membership of which comes from the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and the Royal Marines and extends across the British Isles to as far afield as Australia, came to prominence during the four years of military repatriations through Royal Wooten Bassett and has since become the fastest-growing RBL branch in the UK.
