Home Affairs Minister to appear before Committee

The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence from the Minister for Home Affairs next week. The Chief Executive of the Department, Mr Mark Kelly, will also participate.

The session will be on Thursday 12th November 2015 at 2.30pm in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. The evidence will be taken in public. Members of the public are welcome to attend, and the proceedings will also be streamed live via the Tynwald website.

The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, comprising of Mr David Cretney MLC, Chair, the Hon Steve Rodan SHK and Mr Geoffrey Boot MHK, is one of three Standing Committees of Tynwald Court established in October 2011 with a wide scrutiny remit.
