by isleofman.com 3rd November 2015
Manx Arts Development will once again be hosting its ever popular Willow Lantern Workshops in preparation for this year’s Douglas Lantern Parade. The workshops will be held on the weekend of 14th/15th November at Henry Bloom Noble Primary School (Fairfield site) and at the Villa Marina Arcade the following weekend. The sessions are free and will run from 10am to 4pm, with last entry at 2.30pm, no booking necessary.

The Douglas Lantern Parade on Thursday 26th November will form part of the festivities in the town when the Christmas lights will be switched on. The parade will start around the town hall area, precise location to be confirmed, and will end at the Villa Marina Arcade with a carol service led by the Isle of Man Wind Orchestra. Complimentary hot drinks and mince pies will also be available.

Everyone welcome; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
