The Council of Ministers has agreed memberships of Government Departments for the two new MHKs elected to the House of Keys in by-elections in September.
The new member for Peel Ray Harmer will join the Department of Health and Social Care headed by Minister Howard Quayle MHK, and will also serve on the Department of Infrastructure headed by Minister Phil Gawne MHK.
Geoffrey Boot, the new MHK for Glenfaba, will join the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture headed by Minister Richard Ronan MHK, and will also serve on the Department of Economic Development headed by Minister Laurence Skelly MHK. Tony Wild MLC is stepping down from the Department of Economic Development but retains his membership of the Department of Health and Social Care.
