Police are investigating a burglary at Apollo Blinds on the Riverside industrial estate in Pulrose Road, Douglas, in the early hours of today (Tuesday).

The culprits got away in a company van, that was later recovered, after forcing their way into the premises and stealing a safe containing cash.

They struck at about 1.30am. The vehicle stolen in the raid was a silver Renault Kangoo van marked up with 'Apollo Blinds'. Anyone who saw the van or anyone acting suspiciously in the area is asked to contact police.
