Newest online property agent launches in the Isle of Man

by isleofman.com 20th October 2015
Britain’s newest entrant into the property sales market has selected the Isle of Man for its launch.

At the centre of YOPA’s high profile campaign is a prime-time TV advert which forecasts the demise of the traditional estate agent.
The controversial advert will be shown for the next six weeks across the Granada region during prime-time slots including the Rugby World Cup, X Factor and Downton Abbey.

It shows hundreds of traditional estate agents’ signs uprooting themselves and scuttling out of town under leaden skies as yet another YOPA ‘Sold for ?780’ sign is knocked in.

A separate online version of the advert shows rival boards leaping into a shredder.

YOPA plans to revolutionise the home-selling industry just as businesses like Uber and Airbnb have transformed their respective sectors.

The company has an army of North West Local Property Experts, online Property Consultants and low-cost fixed prices. It is actively recruiting up to 20 experienced property experts to operate in Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cumbria, Cheshire, Derbyshire and the Isle of Man.

YOPA lists properties for sale on leading online property portals Rightmove, Zoopla and PrimeLocation and could save vendors thousands of pounds compared with a high street agent. The company charges a flat rate fee of ?780 and provides an estate agency service that works entirely around the customer.

YOPA CEO Daniel Attia said: “We know that people across the North West want to get the best possible price for their property, are looking for a 24/7 estate agent with the latest technology and they’re fed up of being ripped off by excessive estate agent fees.

“Now vendors can spend the money we save them on something else – like a holiday, a new car or smart furniture for their new home.

“Our winning combination of online property consultants and easy-to-use web property marketing platform frees our local experts to accurately value your property, create quality details and negotiate the best price for you.

“The days of the old-fashioned high street estate agent that closes at 5pm are firmly over. We can offer a slicker, faster, more efficient service with the customer at the heart of everything we do.”

Daniel added: “We want to revolutionise the estate agent industry with our disruptive technology in the same way companies like Uber and Airbnb are transforming the taxi and hotel industries.”
