Police ask owners to keep their dogs under control

Officers would like remind persons walking dogs in public places that they have a responsibility to ensure their dogs are properly controlled. This follows an incident in Peel where a lady was walking her elderly dog on the lead when it was attacked by two Boxer dogs which were unleashed and out of control.

Luckily, on this occasion, the dog was not injured but left shaken.
