Read all about it: newspaper transformed into puppets

by isleofman.com 14th October 2015

Professional puppeteer Corina Bona taught young children in the Isle of Man how to transform newspaper into puppets when she held a puppetry workshop at the Youth Arts Centre in Kensington Road, Douglas.

The event, which reflects a resurgence in puppetry as mainstream theatre, was part of the TheatreFest15 programme, a five-year project being led by the Isle of Man Arts Council in partnership with the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) to encourage new work for the theatre and inspire creativity across all generations and abilities.
