Medals for Isle of Man Field Archers at Cheshire Championships

by isleofman.com 13th October 2015
Isle of Man Archery Club members Lesley and Rodger Sleight competed in the Cheshire Field Championships at the weekend. The two day record status international qualification shoot was held at Mouldsworth.

Lesley won the Ladies American Flatbow Class and gained her first selection score for international team consideration. A minimum of three required score levels are needed for consideration for next years’ great Britain Team.

Rodger who gained the Bronze medal in the Men’s’ Longbow Class commented; “It was a good championship course; very challenging with some great placed targets. There was a good mixture of shots and a couple of daunting 50 metre shots across a lake.”
