Zurich International Life has won three prestigious awards at one of the insurance industry’s flagship events.

The Athol Street based company collected the ‘Best International Protection Product’ prize for its multi award-winning International Term Assurance (ITA) at the International Fund and Product Awards, as well as winning two ‘Highly Commended’ prizes in the ‘Best International Pension Plan’ and ‘Best International Life Group’ categories.

In further success for the Island, the Isle of Man was named ‘Best International Finance Centre’ at the ceremony which took place at the Grosvenor Hotel in London.

The awards – now in their 16th year – are organised by Professional Adviser magazine, and are held in high regard within the life insurance industry. They are judged by an independent panel of life and investment industry experts, based on both quantitative and qualitative data covering:

• Levels of service and support to distributors
• Appropriateness of product range and/or services
• Use of technology and product innovation
• Level of consumer protection
• Commitment to target market
