The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence next week from Minister for Education and Children, Hon Tim Crookall MLC. The Chief Executive of the Department, Professor Ronald Barr, will also participate. This will be a general oral evidence session covering a range of topics.
The session will be held on Thursday 15th October 2015 at 2.30pm in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. The evidence will be taken in public. Members of the public are welcome to attend and the proceedings will also be streamed live via the Tynwald website.
The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee is one of three Standing Committees of Tynwald Court established in October 2011 with a wide scrutiny remit. The Members of the Committee are the Hon Steve Rodan SHK and Mr David Cretney MLC.
