A decade of Microgaming support for RYCOB Football Club

by isleofman.com 8th October 2015
RYCOB, Ramsey Youth Centre and Old Boys, affectionately known as ‘the Youthie’ by players and fans, is now entering its tenth consecutive year of sponsorship by Microgaming.

RYCOB currently has a total of 90 active players, with a larger emphasis on the youth section; around 60 players ranging from 6 to fourteen years old. After a very rewarding season last year, RYCOB’s First Team gained promotion as well as reaching a cup final as runners-up in the JCK Division 2. The club’s Combination Team was also successful, finishing runners-up in JCK Combination 2 league, their best position for many years.

“It is with the unrivalled and outstanding support from Microgaming that we are able to provide the facilities and equipment to enable players to improve their skills whilst enjoying the beautiful game. Thanks to Microgaming’s strong support over the years, we have grown considerably as a club. The growth of the club has meant we are considering building our own clubhouse, which is an exciting prospect for our players and supporters,” said Peter Tomlinson of the club.

Claire Coleman, Head of Microgaming PlayItForward, added: “As we enter our tenth year of sponsorship, Microgaming is committed to supporting the club throughout the season, and into the future. We wish RYCOB every success in the 2015/16 season, as they aim to climb their way up the league tables in both the Canada Life Premier League and Canada Life Combination One.”

Microgaming’s continuing support is already evident with the arrival of RYCOB’s fresh new kit proudly displaying Microgaming’s branding.
