Peregrine Corporate Services (“Peregrine”) directors Stuart Foster and Nick Kelly have recently returned from an IR Global conference based in London. Held between 27th and 29th September, the annual conference attracts business professionals from all over the world, aiming to bring individuals together to discuss ideas and network with one another.
“As a company, we try to attend as many IR Global events as we can as it’s such a great platform to promote our business and the Isle of Man,” said Stuart. “This particular conference attracted over 250 people to its doors so you got to interact with many different professionals from around the world. IR Global’s willingness to innovate and be reactive has really helped companies like ours to build a worldwide network of great contacts; we look forward to attending more events like these in the near future.”
This year’s annual conference signified a very important and exciting new chapter of the group’s development as IR Global celebrated its 5th anniversary. In the past five years, IR Global has become both the fastest growing network in the professional services arena and also the largest practice area-focused group, having held various events all over the world.
Peregrine is proud to be an exclusive member of IR Global in the Isle of Man. The group’s founding philosophy was based on bringing the best of the advisory community into a sharing economy; a system which is ethical, sustainable and provides significant added value to the client. IR Global has representatives in over 150 jurisdictions and offers the world’s largest vetted network of leading professional firms. The vetting process ensures all firms are of the highest quality, and importantly, have a shared ethos of excellent client services.
As well as being a member of the group, Stuart is on the steering committee of the “Accountancy and Company Formations Group”, and has played an influential role in its development since becoming a member of IR Global in 2011.
“This was my first time attending an IR Global conference and I thoroughly enjoyed it,” said Nick. “It was a genuine pleasure to be able to explore new projects with a wide spectrum of people. We’re proud to be a part of IR Global and we hope to continue to support the development of the group as a whole.”
