Canada Life International scored a hat-trick at the International Adviser Awards 2015, winning a total of three awards in the UK offshore category after seeing off strong competition from the likes of AXA Wealth and Standard Life.
Canada Life International won the awards for Best Protection Product (Flexible Life Plan) and Best Single Premium Product (Premiere) after a panel of expert judges reviewed submissions to recognise the strength of Canada Life’s offshore proposition.
It also won the Readers’ Choice award for Best International Life Company UK Offshore, which demonstrates the strong reputation Canada Life have built up across the industry with advisers.
The respected awards ceremony, which celebrates industry excellence, was held at the Mandarin Oriental in London on 17 September. The night included awards across six key financial regions in the world: Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia Europe and the Middle East – as well as UK offshore – to celebrate the companies that have consistently out-performed in the last 12 months.
Canada Life has established a strong reputation as one of the leading providers in the offshore market having been headquartered on the Isle of Man for over 27 years. The company continues to expand and build on its success as demonstrated by its acquisition of Legal & General International (Ireland) (LGII) earlier this year.
Commenting on the awards, Sean Christian at Canada Life International Limited said:
“We’re delighted to have performed so well at the International Adviser awards. This is clear recognition of the services we provide to advisers and the excellent work that all our staff at Canada Life International undertake. Canada Life is proud of its comprehensive offshore product range and the first class service that supports advisers in this essential part of financial planning.
“We will continue to work hard so we are able to offer the best offshore product proposition in the industry as we continue to grow. The recent move to our new head office building as well as our acquisition of LGII reflects our continued commitment to the offshore market, which is a vital part of the Canada Life business.”
