Leading international trust and corporate services provider, Equiom, has announced the appointment of Aidan Davin as Managing Director of Equiom (Isle of Man) Limited.
Aidan will take on his new role with effect from 1st October 2015, having held the position of Group Client Services Director for the past two years. He replaces Paul Seaward who is retiring on 31 December 2015, but who will continue to work with Equiom (Isle of Man) Limited, as its Non-Executive Chairman, from 1 January 2016.
Aidan commented: “I am looking forward to taking up the position of Managing Director at Equiom (Isle of Man) Limited. Paul has done a fabulous job and leaves the business in great shape. I have thoroughly enjoyed my wider Group role and involvement in the growth of the business in other jurisdictions over the last two years, but I am now looking forward to again focusing my energies on the team and our clients here in the Isle of Man.”
Paul has been Managing Director of Equiom (Isle of Man) Limited since 2013, following Equiom’s acquisition of West Corporation Limited, where he held the position of Managing Director for many years. Prior to this, he was Managing Director at West’s related firm, PKF (previously Pannell Kerr Forster Isle of Man).
Paul commented: “Having recently celebrated my 37-year anniversary with the business (albeit the name has changed over the years), I feel grateful that I have enjoyed such a challenging and fulfilling career and have had the pleasure of working with some incredibly inspiring and driven people. I am looking forward to continuing my involvement with Equiom through my Non-Executive role.”
Equiom Global Chief Executive Officer, Sheila Dean, added: “I would like to thank Paul for his hard work, enthusiasm and dedication to Equiom and I am delighted that he will continue to be involved with the business in a Non-Executive capacity. I would also like to formally congratulate Aidan on his appointment. Having been an active member of the Equiom (Isle of Man) Limited Board for the past seven years, he certainly has the knowledge and experience to continue to drive the business forward and, most importantly, to ensure that Equiom’s exceptionally high levels of client service are maintained throughout the transition and into the future.”
