by isleofman.com 28th September 2015
The funeral of John Kennaugh will be held on Thursday 1st October 2015 at St Johns Methodist Church, Main Road, St John between 1:30pm and 2:30pm.

It is expected that a great number of mourners will attend St Johns wishing to pay their respects, far more than the Methodist Church and surrounding space will be able to accommodate.  As such the Isle of Man Constabulary will be enforcing a temporary diversion of all traffic from the area to facilitate the safety of all mourners who attend on the day.

Signage will be in place at Ballacraine diverting main traffic via The Hope and Ballig Bridge, St Johns (residential vehicle access only allowed to the point of Tynwald Close) and Main Road junction with Station Road, St Johns diverting traffic to The Hope and Tynwald Mills. Police Officers will be present at Ballacraine, Tynwald Close and Station Road to ensure minimal traffic disruption.

Bus Vannin have been informed and all bus routes will be altered during this period.

Parking areas for mourners attending the funeral have been allocated, for information on these please contact David Lancaster Funeral Directors on 842945.
