Ramsey Town Commissioners’ series of concerts to celebrate the local authority’s 150th anniversary continues with a performance by the Roc Vannin Choir on Friday September 25.
The concert is the second of a commemorative programme that began with the Summer Singers Community Choir. Other concert planned will feature the Isle of Man WI choir Mrrane ayns Araane, Ramsey Choral and Cliogaree Twoaie, along with an organ recital by David Kilgallon.
Ramsey Town Commissioners’ chairman Richard Radcliffe said: ‘The Commission’s 150th anniversary is, indeed, cause for celebration and what better way to mark this landmark in our history than in music and song from some of the island’s most talented choirs and individual artists.’
The Roc Vannin Choir concert is at the Waterloo Road Methodist church on Friday September 25 starting at 7.30pm.
A retiring collection in aid of charity will be held at the concert, admission to which is free.
