Hospice Midnight walk tomorrow

by isleofman.com 18th September 2015
The Hospice Isle of Man’s sixth annual midnight walk is this Saturday. The walk will start from King Edward Bay House at 10.30pm with registration and warm up from 9.30pm. Merchandise will also be on sale on the night. Due to catering requirements it isn’t possible to register on the night. Walkers are reminded you will need to wear your wristband.

The route runs along Douglas Promenade, onto Peel Road, across the Quarterbridge and up to Ballafletcher Sports Grounds. Currently the Department of Infrastructure are working from the QB through to the Jubilee Tree roundabout but have kindly accommodated the walkers by providing access through a pedestrianised coned area. All walkers are requested to keep within this area as 2-way traffic will be flowing in close proximity.

Head of Income Generation for Hospice, Mary Doyle thanked the team at the Department of Infrastructure for their help and support with this event and thanked everyone involved in what will be a terrific event.
