Moore Stephens Business Sense® has launched a small business incubator facility just off Athol Street in Douglas. It is designed to give start-up businesses and those determined people who drive them a helping hand when they most need it. The facility provides desk space, computers, individual telephone number, basic office supplies, a conference room, access to coffee and refreshments and Wi-Fi. Most of all, it gives a place to share ideas and get encouragement from other entrepreneurs.
“The start-up phase presents special challenges that can seem insurmountable and discourage even the most determined,” said Andrew Dixon, Partner. “We want to give them encouragement and a little breathing room at this crucial time by providing some of the basics, free.”
Businesses in the Moore Stephens Business Sense® incubator will also enjoy free rent during the agreed start-up period as well as direct access to accounting, tax, VAT, payroll, HR and marketing professionals. Also included in the package is business and executive coaching.
The ribbon cutting was officiated by Laurence Skelly MHK. “The Isle of Man takes pride in being a place where entrepreneurs can flourish,” said Mr Skelly. “I congratulate Moore Stephens on this initiative and thank them for making it just a little easier.”
