Equiom appoints Colin Gregory as Head of Malta office

Leading trust and corporate services provider, Equiom, has announced the appointment of Colin Gregory as Head of Equiom (Malta) Limited.

With a seat on the Equiom (Malta) Limited Board, Colin will assume full responsibility for Equiom’s Malta business, focusing on building and maintaining client relationships as well as co-ordinating day-to-day office management.

Sheila Dean, Global Chief Executive Officer for Equiom, commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Colin to Equiom. He has a wealth of experience in financial services and is ideally placed to oversee the further development of our Malta business. This continues a period of substantial European growth for Equiom, following the significant expansion of our Jersey and Isle of Man operations and the launch of the Guernsey office.”

Maltese born, Colin is a qualified financial accountant with over 20 years’ financial services experience. Prior to joining Equiom, he held the position of Vice President of a Corporate Services, Insurance and Management Consultancy business, where he managed a team of client administrators, acted as the company’s Money Laundering Reporting and Compliance Officer and ran the treasury function within the business.

Commenting on his appointment, Colin said: “I am pleased to be joining Equiom and its energetic, enterprising team and, in particular, to lead the Malta office, which has ambitious expansion plans. I’m looking forward to contributing towards achieving Equiom’s business targets and to being a part of the Company’s exciting future development."
