The Dandara Group has triumphed in the prestigious UK Property Awards, claiming 14 titles for its developments - more wins than any other UK developer in this year’s event.
The 14 awards recognised Dandara’s high standards on projects across the British Isles, including five in the Isle of Man. These included residential developments at Ballakilley and Maine Court in Port Erin, Slieau Whallian View in Peel, and the new Canada Life building at Isle of Man Business Park.
Entrants for the UK Property Awards are judged against a strict set of criteria, with a 70-strong expert panel assessing the projects. The judging panel included respected professionals from throughout the industry, representing construction, architecture, planning and interior design, and chaired this year by Lord Caithness and Lord Best.
Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, said: ‘The UK’s developers have really taken up the gauntlet and submitted a number of outstanding developments. These projects are attractive to the eye, highly functional, eco-friendly and feature the latest state-of-the-art technology.’
Seamus Nugent Managing Director Dandara, added: ‘We are absolutely delighted to have received such overwhelming recognition in the keenly-contested UK Property Awards. The submission process is extremely rigorous and the assessment by a panel of international industry experts is thorough.
‘Our projects are judged not only against leading developments from across the UK, but also against strict criteria and standards, which means every award we have won has been truly earned. It is particularly pleasing to have won in so many categories, encompassing architecture, renovation and marketing for both office and residential developments.
‘Alongside our projects in Aberdeen and Bedfordshire, we are extremely proud that our work in the Isle of Man has received five awards against some very strong competition in the north west of England.’
Representatives from the Isle of Man will receive the awards at a gala presentation in London next month.
