An online petition is calling for the resignation of the Isle of Man's Bishop and Archdeacon.

More than 160 people, including several high profile local residents, have signed an ipetition addressed to the Lieutenant Governor.

They claim that 'severe damage' is being done to the Anglican Diocese of Sodor and Man by what they called the 'flawed leadership' of Bishop Robert Paterson and his Archdeacon Andie Brown. The petitioners cite 'prolonged bullying and attempts to intimidate individual members of the clergy'.

Earlier this year, a petition for redress of grievance was presented to Tynwald that also criticised Bishop Paterson.
