A very tight league at the top this time, proving all our bowlers are getting better and fighting harder for the title!

Starting with the team placements, in reverse order –

8th place was Strikers 1
(last seasons winners but illness meant not many games were played)
6th joint – 45 points – Jolly Rogers

3rd joint – 53 points – Wobbly Pins
(Margaret Ireton, Terry Simpson & Sam Roderick)
3rd joint – 53 points – Frozen Frogs
(husband and wife team - Catherine and Willy Tison)
2nd place – 59 points – Gutter Gang
(father and son team – Dave and Adam Roberts)
1st place – 60 points – Strikers 2
(Barrie Nelson & Knut Lassen)

League Highlights

New player to the league, Francis, achieved a great 152 high game scratch.
Our two young players – Adam Roberts and Sam Roderick had a 167 and a 122 respectively.
Dedicated players – Francis, Catherine, Willy, Adam and Dave never missed a match!
