Ramsey Baptist Messy Church goes “Back to School!”

by isleofman.com 10th September 2015
Ramsey Baptist Church are delighted to be launching RBC Messy this month. This is the latest initiative in a series of Messy Church events happening around the Island and overseas. It’s “Messy” because we are imperfect people and life can be messy at times!

RBC Messy is aimed at the whole family with something for men, women and young people of all ages. The Launch theme is “Back to School” and we will consider how, like Emperor Penguins which unite to survive, we’re better together. It’s a great community theme for church and school.

There will be penguin video clips, team challenges, lots of activities – some noisy and others quiet and more reflective - as we explore the theme. We’ll include prayers for the school, its pupils and staff. We’ll also have prayers for RBC LIGHT – the young people’s ministry of RBC – as we begin a new term.

RBC Messy is for anyone who would like to be part of a new way of being God’s church family and it doesn’t matter if you’ve never been to a church before. It’s informal and friendly so why not come and give it a try?

RBC Messy Launch will be held in Bunscoill Rhumsaa’s Auldyn Hall at 11am, finishing after juice, coffee and penguin cupcakes at about 12.30pm. There will also be RBC Messy Sundays on 18 October (Harvest), 22 November (Remembering) and RBC Messy Scratch Nativity on 20 December.
