Three Peaks Challenge attempt will raise funds for 2 local charities

A team of 12 from local engineering company, Swagelok Limited are pictured prior to beginning a challenge of a lifetime - The Three Peaks Challenge 2015. The challenge takes place over the weekend of 12th September, 2015.

The challenge is to climb Snowden, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis all within 24 hours. The challengers will have to overcome sleep deprivation, no rest stops and traffic (within their 800-mile journey). The team have been training hard and are looking forward to achieving something for two local causes – SKILS IoM and the Eva Rose Garden Project based at Hospice Isle of Man. The funds for the garden will be used to purchase a bespoke slide for the children to play on.

Team Captain Andy Quirk thanked the Isle of Man Steam Packet, 4Hire and their employers, Swagelok.
