IoM College principal quits

by isleofman.com 9th September 2015

Geoff Draper is quitting his role as principal of the Isle of Man College after less than two years in the job.

He relocated to the island with his wife, succeeding Ronald Barr who took up the post of chief executive of the Department of Education and Children.

The department hasn't given a reason for Mr Draper's departure, issuing a short statement which reads: 'Geoff Draper is to leave the Isle of Man College of Further and Higher Education after nearly two years in post as Principal. Geoff is returning to the UK to pursue other career opportunities.

'The Department of Education and Children wishes to thank Geoff for his work at the College and wishes him success in the future.'

There's been no further comment.
